Why do we process your data and what is the legal ground for that processing?

The information we request in the registration form, such as your name, surnames and email address, will allow us to manage your enrollment and send you updates. We process your data by virtue of the contractual relationship generated by your registration for the event for the following purposes: a .- Registration for the event: When you register for this activity, your data are used by virtue of the contractual relationship generated by your enrollment. The legitimacy to manage the user registration on the platform is the execution of a contract that is materialised when the conditions of service are accepted. b .- Sending of information: The Universitat de València can send information about the event through the e-mail address indicated by the user if they have consented to it.

How long will we retain your data?

1.- Data related to the registration of users in the activity will be kept for the duration of the event. 2.- Data related to the certification of your attendance and/or use of the event will be kept indefinitely unless you object to the processing or exercise your right to erasure. In this case, you expressly waive the right to prove your participation in the future and/or the right of the organisation to verify your participation to any third party. 3.- Data related to the capture of photographs and/or video for public dissemination will be processed for this purpose until they are removed from public spaces and then incorporated into our historical archive. In any case, after the end of the processing, the data will be kept blocked only at the disposal of authorities, judges or courts for a minimum period of three years from that date.

Recipients of your data.

Your personal data will not be transferred to any other entity. We use the tool for the creation and dissemination of events supplied by SYMPOSIUM (Av. Alcalde Barnils, no. 64, 08190 Sant Cugat del Valles, Barcelona. C.I.F: B66313776) which provides us services with the safeguards provided by Regulation (UE) 2016/679 and whom we have authorised to store your data in cloud services in the territory of the European Union with all the guarantees of the General Data Protection Regulation.

How can you exercise your rights?

Users are entitled to exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection to processing and/or to revoke consent by means of the following procedures: a .- By sending an email from an official account of the Universitat de València or from the same email account given during the registration to the event. b.- By letter addressed to Avda. Blasco Ibáñez, 13. 46010 Valencia. Spain. This letter must be accompanied by documentation accrediting the identity or representation of the person concerned and, when necessary, justifying the application.
